Lindsay Lohan : Lead Role in "Escaping the Game"

Actress Lindsay Lohan, who recently has spent more time in rehab and jail than making movies, is in talks to play the lead in a big-screen drama.
Producer Nathan Folks told RadarOnline.com the "Freaky Friday" and "Mean Girls" star is committed to headline "Escaping the Game," his film to be shot in the United States and Spain this summer.

"She wants to do it," the Web site Monday quoted Folks as saying. "It's about celebs who become very famous and can't take it."

LiLO would play an investigator trying to track down stars who fake their own deaths, then move to a remote island.

"We can get her insured if she is with someone who is keeping an eye on her 24/7," Folks said. "Lindsay and I've discussed it and she's already agreed to the condition. ... She's doing great and we're going to prove to the world that she's back."

On probation for a 2007 driving under the influence conviction, LiLo was charged this month with felony grand theft for allegedly stealing a necklace from a California boutique.
