Ellie Goulding was lost for words when Clint Eastwood told her he was a fan of her music.

The 24-year-old singer has been travelling around America recently to promote her songs and performed at the world famous Coachella music festival when Clint revealed he was sorry to miss her set.

Despite his kind words, Ellie admits she was too nervous to speak to the Hollywood star.

' met Clint Eastwood at Coachella,' she explained. ' didn't have the guts to go up to him but someone else did and suddenly I'm in a picture with Usher, Clint and The Hoff! How weird is that?

'Clint was like, 'I'm really sorry I missed your set.' That was totally brilliant.'

During her stay in the US, Ellie even had the honour of performing on the prestigious television show Saturday Night Live.

' was excited and that helped with my nervousness. But all the cast popped by to say: 'Hi.' I feel lucky that it was my first experience of American stardom,' she told British magazine Star.

The 'Insatiable' singer and the NFL hunk announced their engagement last September but Nadine has revealed the pair decided to break up a few weeks ago after agreeing they were "better" as friends.

She tweeted: "A few weeks ago Jason and I broke up. We are great friends and decided we are better this way. I'm in NYC working & I love all your support. (sic)".

Nadine had previously predicted a long engagement for the couple, saying it could even last a decade.

She said: "It will definitely be a long engagement. We haven't even had an engagement party. I'm going to ride this one out. It still feels so new, so we could do this for ten or 12 years, you know!"

The news of the break up comes just after it was revealed Nadine and her Girls Aloud bandmates, Sarah Harding, Cheryl Cole, Nicola Roberts and Kimberley Walsh are to reunite next year for a tour.

Close pal Louis Walsh said: "I've been on the phone to Cheryl all day, honestly I can show you texts, she's fine. She's getting back with Girls Aloud in 2012 and they're going to tour."

Entertainment at the bash was provided by The Backbeats, an a cappella group who performed on season two of 'The Sing Off' which Nick presents while Nick may not have been the only one to be struggling to recover after the party with a source revealing guests including Nick's brother Drew Lachey "danced into the late hours".

A source told People.com: "Nick and Vanessa greeted guests hand-in-hand. Vanessa looked gorgeous in a white dress with a black sash. She and Nick both seemed very excited to celebrate with their families and friends.

"Everyone seemed to have a great time. It was a laid-back, yet sophisticated atmosphere. Guests danced until the late hours."

Muse bassist looks to write tracks for the band's next album

Muse bassist Chris Wolstenholme wants to write tracks for the band's next album. 

All the songs on the 'Hysteria' rockers' first five albums have been written by vocalist and guitarist Matt Bellamy and, although he feels a little daunted, Chris is hoping his ideas could make it onto their next record. 

When asked if any of his tracks will be on the new Muse album, Chris told BANG Showbiz: "Maybe. Obviously Matt's written everything so far, and he's kind of raised the bar quite high in terms of songwriting. 

"I write quite a bit. I think if there's stuff that's good enough it would always be considered, I'm a bit nervous really, because I don't want to write a song and it be responsible for the demise of the band."

The band ' which also includes Dominic Howard - have yet to start work on the album, but Chris says they have lots of ideas and recording will be easier than previously, as they are all living in the same city. 

He added: "There's a lot of ideas that we've all individually got, but we've not got together as a band yet to actually consciously put an album together. 

"We're kind of all living in London now, well I'm just outside. But the plan is to do the album in London and it will be the first time in 12 years we've all been in the same place!"

The 'Highway to Hell' rockers still regard their former lead singer ' who tragically died in 1980 after a night of drinking in London ' as one of them, and Bon's replacement, vocalist Brian Johnson, feels his death was just "unlucky".

He said: "He wasn't a wild, wild, wild man - he was just as wild as the other boys were. He was just unlucky. We've all done stupid, dumb things where we're young, but we got away with it. He didn't. 

"It was just one of them stupid things that shouldn't have happened, and it was accidental and it was stupid. 

"I just won't have a bad word said against him. We still talk about him like he's a member of the band in the dressing room."

Ashley then cranked up the heat on the relationship pressure cooker by practicing a walk down the aisle. William, albeit looking a little nervous, admitted that this was the best first date he had ever been on. During dinner, he shared his dreams of becoming a stand-up comic and talked about the death of his dad. Afterward, Ashley awarded William with a rose, and the making-out commenced in the middle of the Bellagio fountain.

Chris, Ben F., Ryan M., Nick, Constantine, Bentley, Blake, Matt, Lucas, Ames, Stephen, and West all get an invite to Vegas, where Ashley is waiting with America's Best Dance Crew alum Jabbawockeez. If you thought the guys were going to simply watch a dance battle to help fuel their competitive fire…you'd be kind of right. Instead, the boys have to separate into two teams and come up with a dance routine for Ashley. The winning team stays and performs later that night for a crowd of 2,000, and the losing team heads back to Los Angeles. Ready? Dance off!
The two teams are named The Best Men and No Rhythm Nation. Because we can't possibly put into words what a bunch of grown men who are not proffessional dancers performing a dance-off look like, we'll just inform you that No Rhythm Nation wins. At the after party, Ashley has mini-individual dates with everyone, and because Bentley has mad game ("She's got a nice butt"), he gets the rose at the end of the night.

Dannii Minogue denies split from Kris Smith

Dannii Minogue has denied she is on a 'trial separation from longterm boyfriend Kris Smith.

The glamorous couple was reported to be taking a break in a bid to save their three-year relationship.

The former X Factor judge and her model boyfriend, who have an 11-month-old son, Ethan, together were said to have been living separate lives for the last seven weeks.

But now Dannii, who met Kris on holiday in Ibiza in 2008, has made a statement to squash the rumours.

"Thanks for your concern. We're happy to be back at home in Melbourne together as a family," she said. "We are committed to our relationship and Ethan as always."

Concern that all was not well in the Minogue-Smith household was sparked when the couple posted a series of poignant statuses on Twitter last week.

Dannii, who is currently busy filming Australia's Got Talent, sounded like she was making a dig at former rugby player Kris.

'Never chase love. If it isn't given freely by another person, it's not worth having,' she wrote. 'Forgiving someone does not mean forgetting what they did. It simply means letting go of the hurt.'

Kris, who was believed to be staying with his parents in the UK, responded with his own cryptic tweet.

'You don't know what you've got 'til it's gone,' he wrote.

The messages were deleted from both their accounts soon after.

It's been a turbulent few weeks for Dannii, who announced her departure from the UK version of The X Factor earlier this month.

The speculation about her relationship added further strain on the new mother, with sources claiming that she decided to leave the show to save her family unit with Kris.

'Like any couple, Dannii and Kris have their ups and downs. At the moment they're going through an extremely rocky patch and simply aren't sure whether, this time, they will get through it unscathed,' one source told British newspaper The Mirror.

'As well as the stresses of first-time motherhood, Dannii has been through the ringer professionally, with so many commitments and big decisions to make. One of the main factors in her shock X Factor departure was Dannii's determination to save her relationship. She won't give up on her family without a fight.
